API License Agreement

Effective Date: July 2026

This API License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of WhaleKub APIs, SDKs, Documentation, Sample Code, and related developer resources (collectively, the "API Products"). By accessing or using any API Product, you agree to this Agreement.

1. License Grant

WhaleKub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the API Products solely for developing, testing, and operating applications that integrate with WhaleKub Services.

2. Ownership

All API Products, SDKs, Documentation, trademarks, source code, sample code, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of WhaleKub and its licensors. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

3. Permitted Use

You may:

  • Integrate the APIs into your own applications.
  • Use the SDKs provided by WhaleKub.
  • Reference our Documentation.
  • Develop commercial applications using our APIs.
  • Use API responses in accordance with applicable Product Terms.

4. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Sell, sublicense, or redistribute the APIs.
  • Share API Keys with unauthorized parties.
  • Reverse engineer our APIs or Services.
  • Copy or reproduce Documentation for commercial redistribution.
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices.
  • Create competing API services using WhaleKub technology.
  • Use the APIs for unlawful purposes.

5. API Keys

  • API Keys are personal to your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping API Keys secure.
  • WhaleKub may revoke compromised API Keys.
  • API Keys may not be transferred or sold.

6. SDK License

WhaleKub SDKs may be used only for integrating with WhaleKub Services. Modification is permitted unless otherwise specified, but redistribution must retain applicable copyright notices.

7. Documentation License

Documentation may be viewed, downloaded, and used internally for development purposes. Redistribution or commercial publication of Documentation without written permission is prohibited.

8. API Limits

All API usage is subject to applicable rate limits, usage quotas, subscription plans, and fair usage policies. WhaleKub may modify limits to maintain platform stability.

9. Commercial Use

Commercial use of WhaleKub APIs is permitted only under an active subscription or valid pricing plan for the applicable API Product.

10. Third-Party Data

Certain API Products may provide access to information originating from third-party platforms. Your use of such data must also comply with the applicable terms, policies, and intellectual property rights of those third parties.

11. Changes to APIs

WhaleKub may introduce new API versions, modify existing endpoints, or discontinue deprecated features. Reasonable notice will be provided whenever practical.

12. Suspension

WhaleKub may suspend or terminate API access immediately if:

  • This Agreement is violated.
  • API abuse is detected.
  • Security risks are identified.
  • Payment obligations are not fulfilled.

13. Disclaimer

API Products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhaleKub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the API Products.

15. Changes to this Agreement

WhaleKub may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the API Products constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
